This fund was raised investment from different 15 financial institutions domestically and overseas with approximately VND400 billion invested as initial chartered capital. The Fund's custodian bank, HSBC-Ho Chi Minh branch, will be responsible in depositing and supervising fund assets The fund objective is to grasp high growth investment opportunities from equitizations of the state owned and private companies, in potential developing sectors and other new investments in order to build an optimal, diversified investment portfolio to attain the highest possible returns with a reasonable level of risks. Further value is added to the portfolio by assisting in financial restructuring, management and competition capability enhancement of investees. After a year of successful operation, VF2 increased the chartered capital to approximately VND963 billion by issuing more shares for existing investors.
